While trekking you walk through countryside, remote villages, hills, forests, valleys and rivers enjoying beautiful sceneries around. In the past trekkers had to carry their own tents, food and all the equipment as there was no accommodation and food available in the remote mountain areas. Large number of porters had to be hired for the trip. Nowadays, so called tea-house treks become very popular among travelers as they are easier to organize with the accommodation and food now being available all the way up to the final destination. Nevertheless, government permits are required for entering national parks and conservation areas which can be obtained through either travel agencies or directly from the government.
