Tours in Nepal

When people walk through winding trails, river, stream, ill-top etc, with a different specific purpose of captring the sight-seeing and different other experiences, it is called Trekking. Because it takes you along the trails winding up, down, over and around mountains, trekking has become more popular, now a days.

Tours Nepal

Trekking is not similar to mountaineering only because, some of the popular trekking trails are used by mountaineering expeditions to get to their base camps. Most of the trekking trails you will walk on are still used predominantly by the Nepalese for the everyday travel and trade. It is not uncommon to be passed along the way by a Nepali porter carrying lengths of corrugated roofing iron slung from a jute strap (namlo) around the head or a sick relative being carried in a basket (doko) in the same manner to the nearest medical facility.

Trekking is a way of seeing a country and its people. You can walk through the streets of cities and villages. Past the open front doors of houses, you will see the people at their daily tasks; the clouds forming below you; and the magnificent peaks of mountains towering over you. By trekking, you will be involved in a way, you could never be in a car, bus, train or airplane; you can enjoy the friendliness of the people, feel the magnetism of the mountains, be at one with the country and at peace with yourself.

Best Trekking Season

In Nepal, right from October to June, is considered the best time for trekking purpose. Though, it may vary from the mood or the type of the trek you are going to do. The spectacular clear scenery of the mountains and crystal clear spring water favors the trekkers to touch the nature. December and January are also the best months for trekkers, but in the high altitude, the amount of snowfall is high and hence will result in the occurrences of various difficulties. March and April offer better weather but at the price of hazy visibility on longer distance views. By May it starts to get very hot, dusty and humid, and the monsoon is but near-by the corner and the trail conditions will change. Though, with care, trekking is still possible here in Nepal.
