Rolwalling Tashilapcha Trekking

Rolwalling valley is a remote area seldomly visited by general trekkers, contains a large variety of ethnic groups including Brahmin, Chhetri, Sherpa and Tamang. Rolwalling Tashilapcha Pass Trekking combines the most amazing beauty of mountains and culture. Beding, the village of famous climbers is the last village in the Rolwaling with the higher regions pastures and restricted for the tourists. There is also an interesting nunnery at Bigu Gompa that will be visited in the trekking.
Though off the beaten-path trek, offers great scenery, and is not too difficult and has ethnic diversity. You can have great view of many mountains like Mt Gauri Shankar, Dorje Lakpa, Tashilapcha, Tso Rolpa Lake. Beding and Na are the last Sherpa villages of this valley, where more than 20 good Sherpa climbers, have conquered Mt. Everest and numerous other 8000m peaks. We cross over the Tashi Lapcha pass (5755m) and visit Thame, Tenzin Norgay's home town.
