Eight Days Kathmandu Chitwan Pokhara Tour

Kathmandu

The first stop for the majority of visitors to this country is Kathmandu. This capital valley contains three ancient cities- Patan, Kathmandu and Bhaktapur. Out of ten UNESCO World Heritage Sites of the country, seven cultural heritage sites are situated in Kathmandu Valley.

The history of the Valley begins with the Buddhist saint Manjushree who slashed a passage of the water through the surrounding hills to drain out the primordial waters and make it inhabitable. Over the centuries, a refined urban civilization emerged, built on a unique synthesis of Hinduism and Buddhism.

Chitwan

Nepal is a land of extreme contrasts in climate and geography; it has a unique topography ranging from lowlands with sub-tropical terai to arctic conditions in the Himalayan highlands. Within a mere 150 kilometers the land rises from near sea level in the south to over 8000 meters in the North. This, together with the monsoon rainfall along the south facing slopes, has resulted in compactting virtually all climate zones found on planet Earth. As a result, Nepal has been endowed with a great diversity of life-zones providing a home for a large variety of plants, birds and animals.

Pokhara

Honeymoon Couples choose Pokhara as one of the most beautiful places in the world. Similarly, for a tourist, who likes to visit Nepal, Pokhara is the most interesting place of the country, which is situated in the lap of the panoramic Annapurna Himal. And Pokhara has a favourable climate all the year round. It is neither too cold nor too hot. During the monsoon season in Nepal, from June to August, Pokhara gets its fair share of the rains, but at other times it is mostly dry. Pokhara has a great natural beauty, located into a small area. Perhaps few places in the world, has what Pokhara has in terms of natural heritage. Most of the places of Pokhara, one can view is the majestic mountain peaks of Annapurna and Dhaulagiri. Most of the hotels and restaurants situated beside Fewa Lake provide you with world-class facilities with scenic beauty.

You can enjoy in the 'Fewa Lake' with the canoe known as "Dunga", which is available beside the 'Fewa Lake'. Again there are other lakes, named Beganas and Rupa, which are surrounded by hills. Don’t forget to visit to the renowned David’s fall (Patale Chhango), Mahendra cave, Tibetan refugee camp as well as Sarangkot from where you can enjoy the glory of Mt. Machhapuchhre and the scenery of the town and Lake as well.
